Ingredients
1large tomatopeeled
2handefuls of fresh lettuce leaves
1 tbspolive oil
pinch of salt
Instructions
Peel the tomato and cut it in half, then squeeze each half dry from the tomato water.
Dice the tomato, and finely chop the lettuce into small bite size pieces.
Once ready to serve it, toss all the ingredients in a bowl, then serve it and enjoy.
Notes
If you are not planning on serving your salad right away, you can prepare it ahead but don't add salt until you are ready to serve it because it will draw the moisture from the tomato and lettuce, and leave them soggy.If you are serving the salad during the summer, let it sit for at least 30 minutes in the fridge without salt before you serve it. It's tastes so refreshing in the summer heat.
